[Technology] AI can make mistakes

If someone you know, like someone from your family or a close friend, used to say 90% of the truth but sometimes made up some shit and spilled it in your face like it was true, you probably would be furious or even skeptical about anything else that person was saying. Then why do we still choose to believe at AI decisions or even trust it after reading this kind of stuff?

Why in the hell do we ignore that with so many different AIs right now? Even with that disclaimer there in our faces, we are still eager to use new models, new paradigm shifts, and new IDEs that make our lives 12,5% easier and our jobs 26,88% more efficient.

The thing is, are we really willing to pay this price for all the "efficiency" that comes with it? Everyone is an AI expert right now. Every day there's a new model or even a new way to be "better" at something that one week ago we weren't. Even writing here feels strange now when I look at other texts or blogs from other people. I don't know if that stuff is human or AI-made, and this makes me really sad.

People keep trying to be better every day at the cost of the harsh reality and their values, but no one is talking about that and we are still focusing on the "brighter side" where everyone is more efficient (even though people are getting lazier now and even dumber).

No one reads anything now. They delegate to AI. No one thinks about shit right now. They ask an AI to summarize and help them to decide. No one will stop this doomtrain. We really might be doomed in a few years, and no one seems to give a fuck.

After being sad about the history of a game where humanity fucks up the whole world and has to escape from the earth, it feels like I'm part of the plot right now. An invited guest that never wanted to be part of it.

I'm not afraid to lose my job to an AI. I'm afraid to lose my sanity.
